Vex Red + HALO -- Birmingham Academy 2 -- 16/03/02
Ok, its like 11.30 and I've just got back from the Birmingham Vex show, and it was just unbelievably good. I arrived nice and early (about 6.15pm) to line up...when i got in i bought a mega cool black VR hoody...got more-or-less exactly at the front to watch the show...HALO were opening for Vex and they totally rocked, The one guitarist had wrote across his guitar 'I work hard for the money £' (thanx Nik!)...Vex came on and everyone went crazy, they were so good...Terry had a really good microphone stand - it was totally covered in flowers and fairy lights and had a barbie doll tied to it! Bens drum kit had womens underwear streached around it and i think it was Nick's Marshall amp which had been taped over in places to read 'Arshole'!!

"Im a genie in a bottle"...after the show finished spotted bassist of HALO and i managed to get him sign a HALO flyer i had, now how cool is that (the bass dude thought my
'rocker' dad was off the tour bus!!!), BUT WAIT THERES MORE...this really cool chap i met (If you are reading this
'hello!!' e-mail me as i can't get through to you!)who i was hanging with spotted Ben so i kinda sneaked an autograph into my SWASAPD insert cover and a photo. He is really cool is Ben and i chatted with him for a while...then i saw Keith, so you can guess what happened, if you can't - i got his autograph and a photo too (when he had his photo taken he told me he was going to do his Victoria Beckham impression and kept pulling off funny grins :P ). He was VERY cool. As it happened he was searching for his shoe which some one had stole, which was funny in a way. he liked my custom made vex red shirt, and i told him about the site - hopefully he will visit it sometime...he went to try and find Terry for me but he was having a shower...thats about the time security got fed up of me and kinda kicked me out - but not before i said 'see ya!' to Keith!
