I haven't really had any interesting updates for a while. As you will know Vex have been doing a US tour so there hasn't been much happening here. I did recieve some pictures of a certain Shruti of VR's Virgin Megastore signing which were nice. I will try and put them up on the site when I can get my scanner to work again!! Anyway, Untill next time...

I can't believe it! Kerrang!, everyones 'Favourite' Rock magazine, gave the Vex Red tour a KK rating. First the Album, now this... Kerrang! give other Bands that are no where near as good 4 K's but VR, a band who are a great Live band but a band who have produced a Kick Ass Album 2 K's. Kerrang! deffinatley have some kinda problem with Vex - Its either that or one of the writers has it in for them. I am in the set of mind to start an Anti-Kerrang! club through this site for all you angry VR fans to vent your hatred out. Send any angry thoughts or words you would like to say to Kerrang here.
Grrrrr!! 2 K's my backside....

I've updated the review page with some pics from the B'ham gig.
Heres some more news kinda stuff:
This weeks Kerrang! has some stuff in on Vex Red.
On page 8 there was a tiny picture of Terry with some person asleep, on page 24 there was a double page thing which isnt the most interesting bit on the band ever and in the charts section 'SWASAPD' is number 6. Nevermind. 'Till next time!

Time for an update...
Ok its like 11.30 and I've just got back from the Birmingham Vex show, and it was just unbelievably good. I will write a full review at some point, but here is just a small taste of my night...
Arrive nice and early (about 6.15pm) to line up...when i got in bought a mega cool black VR hoody (Yeepee!)...got more-or-less exactly at the front to watch the show...HALO were opening for Vex and they totally rocked, still trying to remeber what it said on the one guitarists guitar (if you know please e-mail me, its something about working 'for the money')...Vex came on and everyone went crazy, they were so good...they must have played nearly all the album tracks and then some...Terry asked the crowd which version of 'Can't Smile' we wanted to here - the 'Origional' version, or the 'pop' version (Pop won!!) 'Im a genie in a bottle'...after the show finished spotted bassist of HALO and i managed to get him sign a HALO flyer i had, now how cool is that (the bass dude thought my 'rocker' dad was off the tour bus!!!), BUT WAIT THERES MORE...this really cool chap i met who i was hanging with spotted Ben so i kinda sneaked an autograph into my SWASAPD insert cover (scan to follow soon) and a photo. He is really cool is Ben and i chatted with him for a while...then i saw Keith, so you can guess what happened, if you can't - i got his autograph and a photo too. He was VERY cool. As it happened he was searching for his shoe which some one had stole, which was funny in a way. he liked my custom made vex red shirt, and i told him about the site - hopefully he will visit it sometime...he went to try and find Terry for me but he was having a shower...thats about the time security got fed up of me and kinda kicked me out - but not before i said 'see ya, thanx!' to Keith.
Oh, what a great night. I really hope i can see them again soon. I will write a full review at some point and i will get some scans of the autographs up and stuff...Oh well. 'Till next time, Goodnight.

Apparently the midweek chart position for "Start With A..." is no.29! This can be way better you know... tell everyone to buy it, they will be blown away by how good an album it is!

04/03/02 -
The album's out today, I got mine at about 4.40pm from my local HMV. I recomend getting it from HMV, as it has the same price as Virgin (10.99) and comes with a free sampler CD which has 'Untitled' on it along with tracks from other bands.

OTHER NEWS: Radio 1 session is being played tonight... Ive heard that the tracks start either at 8.00pm or 8.30pm. They will be playing the following tracks:

BETWEEN VENOM AND VISION (New track)
FAST CARS
CAN'T SMILE
CLONE JESUS
Should be interesting......
